Once enrolled, the institutional email and the learning platform with all the courses information will be available. The Course Syllabus will show the weekly readings, conferences, assignments, projects, current content and much more fun, designed for crafting a meaningful and appealing educating experience.

The Course Syllabus will suggest a weekly workload that serves as a guide to keeping your progress on track. The Spadina International School student will be responsible for complying with all the assignments, quizzes, projects and exams required to obtain the course credit, within the 12 months counted from the course enrollment day. The SIS student must act with Integrity, securing that all the assignments are individually done, following the school rules, and citing properly upon necessity.

Courses are delivered asynchronously so the student will have the Autonomy to work at their own pace, therefore attendance will be tracked on the platform based on the course progress

As an SIS student, an email account will be granted with access to the learning platform and the possibility to set it up on up to 5 different devices. This will allow being permanently connected and able to follow the marks from anywhere with an internet connection. The learning platform will assist with student´s Neatness, allowing them to synchronize the assignments with the calendar, set a schedule and also a reminder that can be available on mobile devices or computers.
Through the SIS learning platform, the student will receive on a weekly basis the marks along with the feedback for the several types of assignments. The platform will also report the completed and pending assignments, as well as the accumulated performance grade up to that moment. Therefore, the SIS student will have ongoing and up-to-date information about the progress and performance for each of the courses.
Once the half and the end of the course is reached, Spadina International School will issue the Ontario Secondary School Report Card, which informs the achievement of curriculum expectations as a percentage and the learning skills as a letter grade. This report will follow the guidelines outlined by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

All along the course, the student will have a qualified Spadina International School Teacher available for guidance and tutorship, permanently via email or chat and in case any doubt comes up once a week via videoconference. Attendance to the videoconference is not mandatory since the SIS methodology is asynchronous. If any further assistance is required it will be provided to guarantee a smooth and easy progress with your studies.

Furthermore, the SIS student service department will be ready to immediately solve any issues that you might experience with the studying material or the learning platform.

SIS Counselors will be by the student´s side to help design the most adequate study plan that fits the needs, and also to follow the progress towards the attainment of the objectives.

After receiving the Report Card, SIS will record the credits gained, in the Ontario Student Record (OSR) and in the Ontario Student Transcript abiding the Ontario Ministry of Education norms. Those registrars attest the student´s credit attainment and the progress towards the obtainment of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

A course credit or the high school diploma in Spadina International School, will be accredited in the most prestigious schools, colleges and universities all over the world.
